Elora is a PhD student at Stanford’s Hopkins Marine Station. Her interests involve using genomic tools to address questions of ecological, evolutionary, and conservation importance. One current focus is to investigate the prevalence of somatic mutations in corals and crabs that have been exposed to elevated gamma radiation at the former nuclear testing site of Bikini Atoll. Prior to joining Hopkins, Elora received a B.A. in Environmental Biology from Columbia University.
