Christina Hicks joined the Center for Ocean Solutions as an interdisciplinary social science early career fellow in May 2013. She finished her PhD at the Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies, James Cook University in Australia. Christina earned her MS in tropical coastal management from Newcastle University, United Kingdom. At the Center, Christina works to strengthen the focus on the social dimensions of ocean environments. She recently transitioned to the ARC Centre for Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at James Cook University, but is still collaborating with the Center.
