Preparing for TEDx Monterey will provide you with the skills needed to create and deliver a TED talk.  Leaders in any field move and  engage people through theirability to translate their ideas into compelling stories.  The best of these leaders are invited to give TED talks.  This spring, students will have an opportunity to submit a talk for review and one student from MARINE will be invited to give a talk at TEDx Monterey on Friday, April 13*.  While this training is not required to submit a talk, it will help prepare you for this unique opportunity.   In addition, the students attending the workshop will gain training in facilitating lunchtime conversations, and will be able to then lead and engage TEDx participants in active dialogue at the TEDx event. By facilitating at TEDx, students will be able to attend the event at no cost.
