Education & Outreach

Practical solutions to ocean challenges are nothing more than good ideas, if they lack strong leaders to implement them.  As a core focal area of our mission, the Center for Ocean Solutions (COS) strives to enhance current leadership as well as build the next generation of ocean leaders.  COS does this by working to improve graduate marine education and by developing new workshops and educational programs for public and private decision makers. Educating and training current and future ocean leaders is an underpinning of our work and cuts across our three focal areas.  Watch Education Director Adina Abeles discuss our educational mission.
